How to setup an Ergo Wallet

• To download the Ergo Wallet visit the website https://ergoplatform.org/en/ergo-wallet-app/

• After successfully Downloading and Installing a suitable version for your device, Go ahead and open the App

• Tap the “New Wallet” option.

• You will be given your 15 word Recovery/seed/security phrase or paper key. With these 15v words you can restore your wallet on other devices if you lose access to this one. It is crucial that you carefully write down all 15 words (with a pen and paper) in the same numerical order it was given and store them in a safe place.

• You will be asked to confirm at least two of the words, In the same numerical order it was given. Go ahead and tap the slider if you understand that you are responsible for storing your Recovery phrase/mnemonic in a safe place.

• Go ahead and tap the Save password-encrypted, Here you will create and confirm a transaction password. Make sure it’s more than 8 characters and it includes uppercase and lowercase letters, also a symbol.

• Go ahead and Tap the “Receive” button on the home screen.

• Below the QR code there’s a code that can be copied by either tapping and holding down the code or using the Share option to the right of the code, and choosing copy.
